The natural fragrances contained in the sticks have a stimulating effect on many cats and thus encourage playing and chewing on the sticks. This provides a playful and natural dental care.
It is important to actively integrate the sticks into the game with the cat (see next picture for game tips). The Matatabi sticks are a great cat toy with added health benefits.
Matatabi (silver vine) sticks come from the Actinidia polygama plant. This plant comes from the kiwi family that grows in the mountainous areas of China and Japan at altitudes of 500 to 1900 meters. The leaves and branches of the Kiwi plants contain both the substance nepetalactone this substance is also in catnip and the substance matatabi lasten. The effect that these substances have on cats is very special. They have a slightly hallucinogenic effect on cats. Cats become very cuddly, playful and/or relaxed from it, so always give your cat one matatabi stick at a time.
Most cats love the Matatabi sticks, they chew on them, play with them or rub themselves against them. However, there are also cats that often do not find the Matatabi sticks really interesting, you see this especially with cats that are naturally very calm.

Tips for playing with your tiger
Most fur babies are encouraged by the essential oils in the Matatabi Sticks to lick them, chew them or roll around on the floor with them.
However, there is also a proportion of cats that react less strongly to essential oils. This is not a lack of active substances in the stick, but is genetic or age-related (older or not yet sexually mature cats). But also in these cases there are possibilities to inspire the cat for the dental care. Be it through a fishing game, hide-and-seek game or by placing a stick in a glass (see pictures).

Long shelf life with airtight packaging
